Labelplant Ltd supplied a wide range of horticultural products for many years and appeared at many of the major flower shows across England. Unfortunately in July 2006 they were forced to cease trading after a serious fire at the warehouse complex at the Cowdray Center in Colchester.
Over seventy businesses were effected by the fire which apparently started in one of the smaller units at the rear of the building which spread throughout the complex.
Thankfully no one was seriously injured, two fire fighters were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation and were released shortly after. Although Labelplant attempted to relocate and carry on, they found they could not due to the financial loss incurred as a result the fire, so a decision was made by the senior directors in November 2006 to call it a day.
As the ex-manager for Labelplant Ltd, it was obvious there was still a requirement for the type of products previously supplied by them. With the permission of Labelplant Ltd we have redirected their website address to link with ours. Unfortunately their customer records were destroyed in the fire so if we have not managed to contact you to notify you off the change in supplier, please accept our apologies.
There has been some confusion regarding old Labelplant catalogues and products, we are not Labelplant Ltd and therefore products and prices will differ, we provide a similar range but not all products. We do however hope to offer a similar friendly efficient service.
